I. Introduction

Seed Keys provide secure and reliable metal seed phrase backups for Bitcoin users. Seed Keys’ products utilize durable materials and tamper-evident features to protect your assets.

This Refund and Return Policy outlines the procedures and requirements for requesting a refund or return. You should carefully review it to understand your rights and obligations when requesting a refund or return.

Please note that this policy applies to all Seed Keys purchases made through the Seed Keys website. If you purchased Seed Keys from an authorized reseller, contact the reseller directly for information on their refund and return policy.

Additionally, this policy only applies to products that are manufactured by Seed Keys. If you have purchased a product that is not manufactured by Seed Keys, refer to section III. Products Excluded from Refund and Return.

II. Eligibility for Refund or Return

To be eligible for a refund or return, your Seed Keys product(s) must meet certain conditions.

If you are not satisfied with your product(s), you have 30 days to request a refund under the Money-Back Guarantee. To qualify, your product(s) must be unused and in their original condition, with all original packaging and accessories included.

However, if your product(s) have a technical issue or defect, or if you received product(s) that are different from the ones you ordered, you must report the issue within 48 hours of receiving your product(s).

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Seed Keys using the contact form on the Support page.
  2. Provide the following information:
    • Your order number
    • Select the “Payment and Refund Issues” category
  3. Describe the reason for the refund request in the message field.

Once your refund request is received, Seed Keys will review it and respond within 3-5 business days. You may be requested to provide additional supporting documentation (e.g. photos or videos) to facilitate the refund process.

Seed Keys will then provide you with detailed return instructions.

The refund will be processed within 5-7 business days after the refund request is approved. In some cases, the refund may be processed after the returned product has been received and inspected.

If you would like to cancel your order, submit a request as soon as possible, using the form on the Support page. If your order has already been processed or shipped, you will need to follow the return process above.

V. Refund Amount

If your refund request is approved, a full refund of the original purchase price will be issued in Bitcoin.

Please note that refunds will only be issued for the amount paid for the product(s) being returned, and do not include any shipping costs or other fees, such as customs or import duties.

The refund amount will be the original Bitcoin amount paid, minus any applicable transaction fees. This means that the fiat value of the refund may be different from the original purchase price due to fluctuations in the Bitcoin exchange rate.

Refund payments will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction (on-chain or Lightning Network) whenever possible. In cases where on-chain fees are unusually high, an alternative payment method may be used to minimize fees.

VI. Exceptions and Limitations

Seed Keys may limit the number of refunds allowed per customer. In general, a customer may only receive a maximum of one refund per product. If a customer has already received a refund for a particular product, they may not be eligible for another refund for the same product.

Additionally, Seed Keys reserves the right to deny a refund if it determines that the request is not legitimate or is not in compliance with this Refund and Return Policy.

VII. Changes to Refund and Return Policy

Seed Keys reserves the right to update and modify this Refund and Return Policy at any time. Changes to this policy will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
